During a PRP/PRF treatment, blood is collected and centrifuged to separate platelets and growth factors from other components. Once concentrated, these growth factors are injected into targeted areas, stimulating collagen production, promoting healing, and rejuvenating the skin.
For facial rejuvenation treatments, the concentrated plasma may be applied topically, often paired with microneedling to enhance the absorption of the growth factors. PRF treatments, on the other hand, are typically injected into areas like the face, scalp, or under-eye region to restore volume, reduce wrinkles, and stimulate hair growth.
